After meeting your guide at the pier, you depart for Hue. The city is home to the eclectic and mesmerizing tombs and mausoleums of the last emperors of Vietnam, revealing fascinating insights into the lives of the imperial families and their subjects.
When you arrive in Hue, your tour starts with a visit to the impressive Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. The ancient citadel reflects the pomp and ceremony of the dynastic rulers as well as the scars of many years of turmoil, both ancient and modern. Next you visit the citys best known religious site, the Thien Mu Pagoda. Being seven stories high, it is the tallest and most important pagoda in Vietnam. The pagoda dates back to 1601 and sits on a hill where a woman once proclaimed that a Lord would build a temple on this site.
After exploring Thien Mu you will enjoy a boat trip down on Perfume River and then lunch at Le Jardin de la Carambole Restaurant for some traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Later this afternoon you visit the Mausoleum of former emperor Khai Dinh which is located on the side of a mountain near Hue. This monument was built in traditional Vietnamese design with a European touch making it unique from the other tombs in Vietnam.

After meeting your guide at the pier you depart for Hoi an – the World Heritage Site which is located along the pretty Thu Bon River. The town has remained unchanged for centuries. Hoi An used to be the big port for the Cham kingdom to import and export gold, wood,pepper,..At that time, every year Hoi An had some trade fairs that attracted merchants from Holland,Portugal, Japan and China to come with their goods. After the river became shallow, Da Nang started to replace Hoi An as the trade port in 18th cenetry. When the Japanese decided to return home in 17th century, the Chinese came and changed most architecture of the houses over here.
Nowadays, Hoi An is a tourist place with many hotels, restaurants and tailor shops and Danang is a modern dynamic city in Vietnam where there are some a lot of resorts. Some great sightseeing places for tourist such as Dragon bridge, R&R beach, Marble moutain.
Upon arrival to Hoi An, embark on a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Communal Hall and the colourful market.
